Karen M. Rowell
Karen Rowell was born to a musical family, in Woodstock, Ontario and now resides
in London, Ontario with her husband and three children. At age 17 while studying with Gwen Beamish, Karen attended the Banff School of Fine Arts’ Gifted Youth program.
Karen enjoys the act of practising and studying music and has since completed Associates in performance and teaching with both the Royal Conservatory of Toronto and Western Conservatory (now Conservatory Canada), Licentiate and Fellowships in piano performance from Trinity College of London, England and has recently completed a degree in composition at the University of Western Ontario.
Karen enjoys performing as well as examining and teaching all levels of piano and theory and is grateful to the many students who have inspired her music.
