Diane Hunter has been in music education for over 30 years. Her compositions originate from a love of melody. Her objectives are to compose quality music that has educational merit and student appeal. Diane’s goal is to present music as a joy for all.
Diane is an independent teacher and has taught students from age five to eight-five. She has introduced music to children with learning difficulties. She has also taught music to all grades in a private school in Winnipeg using Orff instruments, steel drums and software technology in her teaching. Her piano recitals correlate delightful overhead images to student selections.
Diane has an Education degree with a major in music and a Post Baccalaureate from the University of Manitoba. She teaches theory and keyboard skills and prepares candidates for examinations. Diane now teaches children of her former students. She is delighted to guide students into the teaching profession.
