CNCM’s ever-popular Summer Sizzle program, including our Summer Sizzle Student Keyboard Kamp and Pedagogy Symposium, took place in July in Biggar SK!  It was a very successful event--fun, informative and full of music-making.

Summer Sizzle: Keyboard Kamp also happens concurrently with the Teacher's Pedagogy Symposium.

The Summer Sizzle Piano Pedagogy Symposium offers experienced and new teachers, as well as senior students, a variety of workshops, showcases and concerts.
  • 2 Days of Pedagogy Workshops:  Guest clinicians offer innovative and energizing pedagogy workshops. 
  • Master Classes:  Master classes featuring our Keyboard Kamp students are hosted by Wes Froese, Christopher Norton, and visiting Canadian composers.
  • Showcases:  Featuring new Canadian works.
  • New Product Music Blitzes: 15 minute new product presentations provide teachers with an opportunity to learn about the best our Canadian composers, educators and artists have to offer.
  • 2 Evening Concerts: Inspiring music from our visiting composers.
  • Trade Show:  The latest music, texts, recordings, teaching materials and giftware.
