Sharon DeVree
Sharon DeVree began teaching piano and theory in the London area at the age of 17, when she also became assistant organist of her home church. She went on to become Music Director of various churches in the London area. Sharon studied music at Spring Arbor College in Michigan and went on to further her studies in piano, voice and organ. While maintaining a large private studio, she has been teaching Music for Young Children for 10 years and has recently taken extensive pedagogical training in the Suzuki method. Sharon holds an Associate in Piano Pedagogy with the Northern Lights Canadian National Conservatory of Music.
She is director of a community Summer Choir and is co- Director of the Touch of hands Chime Choir. She enjoys accompanying a gospel quintet, school choirs, soloists and small ensembles. She is a member of the Board of Examiners for Northern Lights Canadian National Conservatory of Music.
