Applications fees received by Northern Lights Canadian National Conservatory of Music except as follows:

• Health Reasons: Candidates must supply a physician's note to qualify for a  deferral. An administration fee of $25.00 will be deducted from the application fee.
• Conflict with school examinations: every effort will be made to arrange the scheduled examination time around school examinations. If the candidate is aware of examination dates and times upon application, please enclose this information to help prevent conflicts. Candidates who are unable to attend their examination due to this type of conflict will be allowed to have the examination fee deferred to another session. Candidates must supply proof of conflict.No other circumstances qualify for a  deferral

If a candidate decides to cancel an examination, please notify the Office of the Registrar as a courtesy.

Examiner availability will determine whether the selected time period can be accommodated.

For examination dates other than the Winter, Spring or Summer sessions, candidates must contact CNCM with the schedule requests prior to submitting an application. Applications must be filed a minimum of eight weeks prior to the requested examination date.
